Last year, I was fortunate to attend the Chinese-Philippine Business Council hosted by Philippine Chamber of Commerce at Intercontinental Manila Philippines. Among the guest speakers were VIP's from Philippines, Taiwan and from other nations. Foreign delegates brag the richness of their countries and how well they are performing. I could not help it but to compare my nation to theirs. I guess most of what they said were right... Philippines image are too bad and most of the news they are getting are negative. Though I could not deny our bad reputations due to too much politics, I could not take it when they said we are poor. Yes, we have lots of poor nationals lately due to many unavoidable factors but it doen't mean this country is really that poor. Although I need not prove anything to anybody, I started to refocus my sight to what this nation has to offer. Yes, you won't see high rise buildings as tall as what other nations has. Neither no infrastructure competing with what Dubai and other industrialized nations in South East Asia. No high tech tech facilities as well. What I saw are natural wonders. Philippines natural resources and culture are beyond what most have seen and heard. They are simply awesome and its natural wonders and culture are its national treasures. You won't belive Philippines is this beautiful and exoticly refreshing. And the little amount you will be spending, you can visit a number of destinations that are incomparable to any nations you can visit. The joy, tranquility, inspiration and refresh feeling is beyond any nation could offer. No matter how others perceive about the Philippines, this nation is uniquely great. And behind the simplicity of its people's lifestyle is a remarkable history, geography and festive culture. You can't help it but smile. Let me show you some images . Much better if you visit and see for your self.
